Understanding Metal Roof Panel Coverage And Sheet Count

This tool estimates how many full metal roof panels may cover a known roof area. It first adds the selected waste rate, then finds one panel's area from installed coverage width and length. Dividing adjusted roof area by panel coverage area gives a raw count, which rounds up to a full panel. Coverage width matters because seams or laps can conceal part of a sheet.
